This kit includes a machined knurled aluminum knob with a red momentary button - which can be used to operate one electric component (e.g. line lock, flame thrower, starter, horn, high beam or whatever). We originally designed this to operate a line-lock (roll-stop) so that a foot-clutch bike with no front brake lever could be held on a hill long enough for the right foot to be taken off the brake lever to allow the left foot to operate the clutch for a hill start. Think of it a bit like an e-brake (although braking pressure is only held in the brake line whilst the button is depressed - pressing the button does not create braking pressure, only holds existing pressure, so there is no danger if you should accidentally press the button whilst riding). The knob has a 1/2.20 female thread and also included is a 9" threaded steel shift rod. This rod is hollow to allow you to run your wiring through the shift rod to exit cleanly at the base. We typically cut off the stock Harley shift arm and weld the HD splined piece directly to the end of our rod, but of course this kit can be used in countless custom applications. Kit is available with or without TCI roll-stop kit (line-lock).
